I am a 5-6 year old, male, beagle/sheltie mix. I came to the shelter as a stray, so the staff can't tell you a whole lot about my past. What they can tell you is that I am a very sweet little guy, who absolutely loves to be around people. I even walk well on a leash, so if you are looking for a dog who is not going to pull your down the road, you should come take a look at me! I am looking for an active family that can keep up with me, along with someone who has the time to put me through the training that I need. My name is Lady and I a 2-3 year old, female, beagle shepherd mix. My brother Tramp and I were found roaming around Danville, and eventually made our way to the shelter. I am a very sweet girl and absolutely adore the humans that I know. Though it does take me a few moments to warm up to strangers. I am looking for an owner who understands how shy I can be at times, and is willing to put me through obedience classes to not only help with socialization, but to teach me some fun commands. All I want to do is please my family, and I will work really hard at it. I am just a complete doll! On the plus side, I probably will not get any bigger! Might I add that i would really like to go to my forever home with my brother Tramp. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that sometimes people just can't take on two new dogs at once. So if we need to go to seperate homes, that is great. I just thought I'd throw it out there.
